Roz Savage was elected Liberal Democrat MP for South Cotswolds in 2024 after an international career as an ocean rower, environmental campaigner and author. She holds four Guinness World Records, including becoming the first woman to row solo across the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans, and was awarded an MBE in 2013 for services to environmental awareness. 

Born in Cheshire in 1967, she studied law at the University of Oxford, later earned a doctorate from Middlesex University, and has worked extensively on climate and conservation initiatives worldwide.
