Lord Bourne of Aberystwyth has been a member of the House of Lords since 2013 and served as Minister for Faith and Integration (2016–19) and Minister for Wales (2017–19). A former Professor of Law, he led the Conservative Group in the National Assembly for Wales until 2011 and has held senior roles in Welsh Conservative politics. His interests span the economy, education, health, rural affairs, and Welsh public policy, alongside support for charitable and cultural organisations.
